I had so much fun working on this WordPress site for Benten Salon. I’ve always wanted to design for a beauty salon. There is such style and beauty in that industry. Kyoko Mori has a beautiful salon located in gorgeous Solana Beach, along with an incredibly talented staff. She did an excellent job of starting her business off on the right foot by hiring a marketing company to design and brand her logo, website and brochure. She also hired a professional photographer to take all the beautiful photos you see on the site. If you are a local to the San Diego area, go check them out.

What a busy month it has been. I can’t even begin to list all the wonderful sites I have come across for baking, crafting and designs. Not to mention all the new church designs and videos that are out this year.This was our final design for our Christmas theme this year. Our pastor had a vision for old Bethlehem, yet with nice Christmasy colors. So far, we have had good reviews on the design. I was also able to come up with some other Christmas designs that made it to the Worship House store if you’re interested in seeing them.

Creativemyk is a website that offers free images and designs for church designers. You can download my two free images on their site, a wood texture background and a church photo I took on our trip to Arizona. There are lots of cool designs on there for inspiration and even a forum for critique on any church project you may be working on.

Worship House Media sells mini videos, worship backgrounds, and stills geared for the church and I have recently been added as one of their producers. You can see my slides here.I have been very impressed with the content at Worship House. Finally, there are some kick butt designs and non-cheesy videos for churches at very affordable prices. I’ve seen many poorly designed Christian backgrounds out there so this website is a huge breath of fresh air.
Also, if you’re in need of new fonts for your worship slides, go to DaFont.com, they have lots of fun free fonts. Or go for the killer fonts from Veer, House Industries and Font Diner.
